More people get to taste what a little hope, joy, and peace are like for a short time, hopefully then searching for more year round. And since when is sacrificial giving a secular trait? OUR holiday is even stronger when it's out there for everyone. It usually makes me cry to see people of all faiths (or no faith) get to taste what I'm blessed with all year.
